This week was busy at World Nuclear University's Coordinating Centre!

On Tuesday we had our annual Advisory Panel meeting with the founding supporters of WNU: Mary Alice Hayward, DDG MT IAEA, Ingemar Engkvist, CEO WANO, Agneta Rising, DG WNA and President WNU, and Patricia Wieland, Head WNU. William Magwood IV, DG OECD NEA, also sits on the Advisory Panel to provide his valuable recomendations for WNU in 2020. The Advisory Panel discussed WNU acheivements in 2019, and looked forward to 2020 and beyond by making recommendations and discussing new ideas.

That evening, WNU Alumni attending WNA Working Groups had a reunion in London. Thank you to all Alumni who attended for such an enjoyable evening!

Also on Thursday, the Board of Management for the WNU School on Uranium Production met to discuss the development of the programme in 2020, with 4 planned courses in the Czech Republic in collaboration with DIAMO. The meeting was attended by Patricia Wieland, Christophe Xerri, Luminita Grancea, OECD NEA, Marian Böhm DIAMO, Jiří Mužák DIAMO and Head of WNU SUP, and Olga Skorlyakova, WNA.

In the mean-time, we have been busy planning and organising the WNU Summer Institute 2020 in Japan, and preparing for a vibrant year of new collaborations and continued success!
