Welcome to the Summer Institute Application Form

Please ensure that you have approval from your manager or supervisor and financial endorsement from your organisation before starting your application.

We recommend preparing the required information and documents in advance. In addition to your personal, academic, and professional details, you will need to upload the following and respond to short essay–style questions in English.

Description of professional responsibilities
Motivation statement outlining goals for participation
Responses to additional situation-based leadership questions
Manager / Supervisor signed letter of endorsement confirming organizational support and authorization to attend the 5-week programme
Confirmation of English language proficiency

The working language for both the Summer Institute application and programme is English. Proficiency in written, spoken, and comprehension of Business English is required. During the programme, you will be expected to read and analyse texts in English, engage with lectures, present to large audiences, and participate in fast-paced professional discussions and debates. As the use of translation devices is limited, an accurate assessment of your English language proficiency is essential to ensure you can fully engage with and benefit from the programme.

I understand that the Summer Institute is delivered in English and requires a strong level of Business English. If necessary, I will take steps to improve my English proficiency and become familiar with the language before the programme begins.

To help support our understanding of your own personal goals and proficiencies, we ask that you do NOT use AI to complete your application essay questions. We are not looking for perfection or polish, but to understand how you personally think and how you convey your thoughts.
