As the deadline for applications to the Summer Institute 2020 nears, WNU staff are busy completing the technical programme for Japan! Work on the Summer Institute 2020 began over a year ago to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all participants, and we are very exited to welcome Fellows to Kobe in June.

In preparation for this year's Networks for Nuclear Innovation (NNI) module of the Summer Institute, we are ironing out the details of our new hub within IAEA's Connect platform. This will enable discussion and collaboration between Alumni from all years of the Summer Institute, and will better facilitate the mammoth amount of work Fellows put into the NNI projects. It will also work as a single point of reference for all NNI references and related work.

The registration deadline for Summer Institute Alumni wishing to attend the technical tour of  Extended Leadership Development Workshop in St. Petersburg is also coming to a close, and we would encourage Alumni to get their applications submitted to take advantage of this truly vanguard experience!

This week Patricia Wieland, Head of WNU, announced that after the completion of the Summer Institute 2020 programme, she will be resigning from her position. We would encourage you to take a look at the vacancy announcement, and to share it with your network.
