"Undeniably, we need to rapidly expand the share of clean energy generation to mitigate the effects of climate change. The Harmony goal of generating 25% of global electricity from nuclear power may only be reached through sustained and coordinated innovation. Since 2003, WNU has been developing a strong global network of talented and enthusiastic professionals. The Networks for Nuclear Innovation platform on CONNECT facilitates this network’s long-term collaboration and innovation in all areas of the nuclear industry. I greatly anticipate the positive impacts this platform will have on global electricity generation."

Introducing WNU's Networks for Nuclear Innovation on IAEA's CONNECT

NNI on CONNECT is a platform for WNU Alumni, Faculty, and Mentors of all years of the Summer Institute to collaborate on innovations in the nuclear area.

Using this platform, members will be able to:

  • Connect with the WNU Alumni Network to discuss innovations in the nuclear sector through dedicated discussion forums, and to share resources through dedicated resource libraries
  • Network and find partners for collaborative projects based on expertise and specific competencies through the members database
  • Keep up to date with WNU Alumni and events
We encourage all Alumni, Faculty and Mentors to join this network today by registering! This can be done on the NNI CONNECT homepage, but clicking on the blue 'Not a member yet?' button on the right-hand side, and following the steps. When your membership has been accepted, you will recieve a notification email.

WNU is deeply grateful to IAEA for their continued support in hosting and realizing this platform.
