The WNU-SI Faculty consists of Lecturers, Distinguished Speakers and Mentors.
The Lecturers have been chosen among leading world experts for their thorough knowledge of their subjects and their dedication to lecturing. Their presentations will be focused on the main global issues that have to be tackled during the short and medium term as part of the "nuclear renaissance". This global approach is an important component of the WNU Summer Institute.
The Distinguished Speakers are Internationally-known figures who have made significant contributions to the development, politics and peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology. They will enrich the Summer Institute by (a) bringing to the Fellows ideas and information related to their work and achievements in the real world of nuclear energy, (b) painting stimulating "big pictures" encouraging the Fellows to think of an exciting career dealing with challenging issues
In addition, an international group of highly experienced academic and industry leaders will serve as Mentors to the Fellows. They will support and assist the WNU Fellows, working in their international small groups, to prepare projects, address case studies and draw the various elements of the programme into a coherent context.
Biographical information for the 2007 WNU Faculty will be made available as they are received.
