Welcome to the website of
the WNU School of Uranium Production
The school is an International Training Centre for uranium exploration, mine development, production, waste management and decommissioning. It was established in 2006 and is operated on behalf of WNU by DIAMO, the Czech uranium company (www.diamo.cz)

It was set up on the premise that a worldwide expansion of nuclear energy is now very likely, which will require a higher level of primary uranium production. Over the past 20 years, however, the world uranium industry has been somewhat depressed. A large number of experts are therefore either already retired or close to this and almost an entire generation of specialists is missing. The School aims to redress this situation through its activities.
